Used one of the Dalvivo power cords in house during the review of the Ensemble Fuoco integrated amplifier and was impressed enough to order two more power cords. So I'm currently using them in conjunction with my cj preamplifier and Doshi phonostage and tapestage. The Dalvivo isn't by high end audio power cord standards horrifically expensive ($1800 for a 2 meter length) but their performance far exceeeds expectations.

I originally thought that Ensemble cables were "compensating" a bit to improve the sound of the integrated amplifier. Not any more after substituting the Dalvivo for my normal power cords. The Dalvivos sound good out of the box and blend the best features of my two reference power cords: transparency, quietness and harmonic completeness. On top of that, these power cords image like its going out of style.

I don't usually review power cords on their own but may make an exception in this case.

    More to come.

One was a prototype and the other was the Kubala-Sosna Emotion (yes I know they are colored and slightly uneven but nothing else gave me their dynamics and midrange). I actually prefer the Emotion to the Elation but then again I'd need to wire all the components with Elation to be able to say that with certainty. The Elation was more neutral yet I always felt at the sacrifice of the mids.

Thanks for sharing your impressions. Any impact on bass performance? Would be great if you did a full review. Many thanks.

That might be one of the Dalvivo's strengths and really complemented the sound of the SAT arm in particular. One could really hear how the SAT resolves textures in this region while recreating say in the case of Jonas Hellborg the articulation of notes as well as making chord changes really easy to hear. Plus the imaging is rock solid down there as well as across the frequency spectrum.
