It’s interesting how similar our comments were about the Siggie given we used very different tables and arms, etc. Particularly about its spatiality and low level resolution. In fact we both talked about piano reverb on two different recordings!

Nice review Myles. reinforces that Atlas is the best cartridge for myself.

Ha! I would like to have both. For the first time I know why people have multiple cartridges. In retrospect, the one thing that didn’t maybe come through was the vdh’s amazing refinement. The Colibri’s sense of space just brought recordings — like the Hovhaness — to life for me. In a way say like properly setup MBLs 101s can do for a recording.

              Agree.

Given the only thing duplicated in our systems for these write-ups was the product under review (during evaluation). This shows some correlation of thought into the cartridges' performance.

Thanks so much Gus. I know Andre (please excuse me if putting words in your mouth) and I both work very hard at our jobs as reviewers. Andre is as thorough and smart as any reviewer (or person) that I know. There’s no one better at setting up cartridges than Andre. Plus the most helpful and always willing to help.
