  • Kontak contact cleaner

Based on one of Myles's recommendations that I read somewhere, I bought a bottle of Kontak Audio "contact cleaner".

When I received the bottle, there were no instructions anywhere on how to use it. The product's website (http://www.kontakaudio.com/) also gives no assistance on how it's supposed to be used.

So, how am I supposed to use the stuff?

And just make sure to retighten the cap after wetting the Q-tip so the fluid doesn't evaporate or spill.

BTW, the bottle should have also come with some pipe cleaners to clean inside the female RCAs.

I wish Kontak would have stuck with the glass bottles over the new metal container......

          +2.

They don't want you to see it evaporating right before your eyes! But the stuff is the best I've tried.

I may be mistaken but I believe it was Kontak (or another "connection enhancement fluid") that J. Peter Moncrieff of IAR was wowed by when he put it on the connections on one channel of his system and compared it to the untreated channel.
