No. Mike and I had talked a couple of shows ago but nothing happened. Right now am up to my eyeballs in cables.

I just got the Quartz, I have both clear and gray, not sure if there will be a difference.

No, I make my own very unusual cables. I use the "magical" Dueland wire, which I posted about for the positive lead only. I use a six nines OFC stranded copper wire for the ground. I use Eichman pure silver RCA plugs, which look cheap, but sounded far better than the pretty "heavy metal" CNC'ed ones. CRITICAL: I keep them in separate sleeves meeting only at the RCA plugs, I named them my VooDoo interconnects because they look as weird as you can imagine, but sound great
They beat by a long shot Audio Magic's $10,000 retail interconnects, which were my favorite prior to my accidentally creating these. This is partially why I say, 'high-end audio is about 50% physics and about 50% VooDoo".

        Only 50% voodoo?

I'd not heard of Verastarr before this thread. But now that I've googled and read some, it sounds like an interesting company and product.

This gives new meaning to "Hard RocK", I piled about 4 lbs of the crystal version on top of & around my output transformers. My first impulse was to want to turn the volume up on Billie Holiday. It sounds smoother, perhaps with less distortion. First impression after a half hour of listening.
