the one gotcha is the adhesive on the flap...these are a PITA when removing the jacket/box and then reinserting w/o the adhesive catching said jacket/box cover and potentially ruining it (ask me how I know). I'm surprised they still make them like this. The seller even cautions about it. sorry, pass.

Will it fit the MOFI one step box set? Or the new UHQRs from Chad?

I'll try to take some photos today of box sets and sizes you all might be familiar with. I did just try a MFSL one step box, it's about 1/8" to big and a pain to get it in, not something I would want to do all the time.
          https://sleeviewonder.patternbyetsy....large-3-medium
I have all the box sets in your linked add and I'll see if these all fit the Bags Unlimited. I'm thinking Zeps Mother Ship will not, my new Beatles 50th anniversary boxes fit and the White album box set is about the biggest box that fit these.

I was also searching for alternatives. πŸ˜‰ Sometimes the retailer says their outer sleeves will fit a box set but don’t and these seemed the largest out there. Agree on adhesive but just be careful.

          the bags unlimited have a flap but no adhesive anywhere on the bag;

Looking at Bags Unlimited they have a larger and heavier bag for box sets than what I posted above. I think they might have discontinued this one > SBLP2 , 14"x 14-1/4", 2mil 50 pack. They are making them a little heavier and wider, witch makes sense to fit something like the MFSL box size. However in looking at the difference in the sizes I can't see a 2" thick box fitting in them even though that's what is posted, but maybe. It looks like I got to order these for the next box size up.

          180 Gram Record Jacket SLEEVE

And these for my newer heavy records or more valuable old titles.

          180 Gram Record Jacket Sleeve
          13 x 13" 3 mil Polyethylene

          NO flap.

I just found these, for thin boxes like this and should work really good for the new records coming out that are just to big for a normal sleeve. The three LP and special packaging that make the records a odd size. It looks like I'll be doing some ordering from BU, I normally just get the bags at my record store so I'll see how ordering there goes.

            13 x 13" x 3 mil Polyethylene. my normal heavy sleeve

These box sleeves are smaller and larger than the one I already have and posted above, so I'll have all three sizes they have.

I also got the gate fold sleeves in snug and loose fit

One other place I have bought from is Square Deal https://www.squaredealonline.com/

When I started to Ultrasonic clean thousands of my old used records I needed new inner sleeves. Expensive is not the way to go with all records, in fact the expensive ones are generally to big for old record jackets. Many of you might be familiar with the plain heavy polly inner sleeves in a lot of new records. These are 3mil and small, they stay a little stiff and slide into old smaller record jackets very nice.

I have been buying these by the case of 1000.
          https://www.squaredealonline.com/a.asp?m=7.87..#l

Look over their site as they have a lot of stuff for music in packaging and shipping supplies.

ID:	125424 Just got the sleeves in from Sleevie Wonder. They fit the MOFI (UHQRs don't seem to fit) boxes but am a little worried that the sleeve thickness will lead to tearing with multiple uses. So take care when removing and reinserting back into the outer sleeves. The adhesive on the flap really doesn't seem to be an issue.

I don't think sleeves smaller than these will accommodate the MOFI box sets.

The stuff I ordered from Bags Unlimited will be here Tuesday, I'll report back on what they fit as I'll have all three sizes they carry. The really clear Japanese style resealable outer sleeves like you got are not that strong, they have a tendency to split at the seem weld. They don't have an elastic stretch to them like normal bags do. You give up durability for clarity IMHO,

Agreed. Have to be careful when removing or inserting. That said, don’t necessarily play that often so durability is a little less of an issue.

I should also add the packaging was extraordinary. The large sleeves came in an oversized, super sturdy box so they couldn’t be mutilated, managed, etc. during shipping!

Ok I'll start with the LG box bags.
If the box isn't to wide the bags will hold thicker boxes. The Free box is pretty thick but isn't as wide as the Clarity 45RPM test pressing that doesn't fit the Largest bags. The Tom Petty old style album fit but the open flap is on the spine side.

These are the small box bags, but they are also good for big records albums they are making today. 3LPs, Multi media, very large gate folds. The really wide Bob Dylan is in side ways and the flap is at the spine.

These are my normal sleeve, they are both 12 3/4 X 12 3/4, and I use 4 mil for new heavy records or high dollar old ones. The 3 mill I use for general old records. It's a $10.00 difference in the price for the 4 mil, that adds up with thousands of records so I do it on more expensive records only.

I prefer the thickest mil sleeves. The ones from Sleeve City seem to combine both clarity and durability. Other outer sleeves seem to get β€œdirty” and lose clarity over time.
