    Looking For Some Plastic Outer Sleeves For Your MOFI Ultradiscs?

    Sliding those records past each other can over time damage the record jackets. Therefore, I like to enclose my LPs in plastic sleeves. But finding good quality plastic sleeves for boxes and larger, multi-LP box sets can be challenging. I had up to now been using some Mylar resealable sleeves for the MOFIs but it’s always just a matter of time until they rip.

    I recently ran across these sturdy and well made 4 mil plastic sleeves from Sleevie Wonder on Amazon that are a perfect solution and fit for the Ultradiscs. There’s a little room so not too tight and clear enough to be readable.

    Only downsides. One, there is a seam that goes down the spine and two these sleeves aren’t sealable. Neither are deal breakers for me but the sealable jackets are nice to have to prevent the box sets from getting dusty!

      Oh these sleeves also were easily big enough—perhaps even slightly too big—to hold two reel to reel boxes eg. usually one album.

      I am going drop one size to medium to see if fit the two R2R boxes better.

        bags unlimited sells poly sleeves big enough for the ultradiscs and UHQRs.
        But the catch is you have to buy 50.
