Has Audionirvana considered a classified section?
I stopped selling NOS tubes, when Audiogon & eBay became lawless sites, the aggravation was just not worth it.

Does money talk?
Just saw a pair of United Electronics NOS NIB 845 W's offered on eBay for a mere $6,000. They are pigs compared to my NOS RCA 211 black plates.
NOS tubes continue to go up in price, which I take to mean they are far better than current production tubes.

Why would people be bidding up the price of NOS tubes, If the current production tubes were just as good or better?

I meant to ask why do you think the NOS RCA 211 black plates are better than the NOS NIB 845W (I assume W stands for Western Electric?)

I totally agreed with YOU on the higher price of NOS tubes.
In the past, we tried KR Audio 845 and they are not reliable so we settled for Shuguang and/or Psvane.

Believe it or not the "W" stands for "Warrized", which has been replaced by "Ruggeredized".
The 211's sound far better in my system, which was created speaker dependent.

While I am sure he knows more, rarely are new runs better
i only two brands that make what I feel is as good or better. One is Takisue and I doubt hatcspelled right and kron again my view. Tubes are very dependent on circuitry the krons were made for my lampi Dacs not Amps. The taks are for both. I can name many that some love but it's there taste in the end some just don't sound right but are loved
