        What kind of 211's are you using? I use the GE VT4c in my SET . I've never been able to find RCAs.

          There was a quad offered on Audiogon of the RCA 211's a few days ago, likewise a pair were offered on eBay.

        Old tubes sound best. For what I use in headphone Amps and my lampi dac there is much more nos they current production. Even the current production are replica tubes.
        And from 60 back is where the nos come from. While I have some new production it's not many and all are replica tubes expensive stuff. Just enough tubes to achieve the sound
