        It looks very similar to an RS-1520 and seems to have the same functionality (speeds, EQ, balanced).

          But not all those front panel level, EQ and bias screw controls! If you know what you are doing, NAB or IEC playback EQ.

        It has Otari MTR10/12 heads (or Otari OEM'd Panasonic heads) - I know one of them manufactured heads that several Japanese companies used at the time.

            I found an old thread from here where Charlie King mentioned that they were produced by Panasonic and that Saki began providing heads after Panasonic's exit from the head business. I thought Saki produced only ferrite heads, but I may very well be mistaken.
