    Those sure look nice...but $259 EACH seems a bit steep.

        Is this company related to j-corder? I am wondering based on its location and all the Technics RS reel pictures. I also swa "Jeff J" mentioned in the "about" section.

          Beautiful, but I just couldn't justify a $259.00 empty reel for my endeavors! Hope all the best to them, though...

            I think these reels would have the biggest impact as a feed reel. Reel quality has an effect on the sound.

            Yes using them for tape storage would be cost probitive.
