Latest iteration of my tape front-end.
V.1: Tape heads wired out to Bottlehead Repro; IEC PC inlet added to back of deck; tape path refined. Tape deck placed on Symposium Isis rack.
V.2: Bottlehead Repro replaced with King-Cello Tape Preamp; added Dark Labs hubs.
V.3 Pro-Nortronics heads added and deck set to playback only 2-track; addition of now discontinued Reeltronix supply reel.
V.4 All top-of-the-line Furutech male and female RCAs added as well as Furutech IEC inlet to outboard power supply.
A huge thanks to Charlie King who did all the mod from V.2-V.4 on my deck. The connectors were the biggest pain as he had to drill out the box plus the material (I'm sure other have had this issue too) disapated the heat and made soldering the new connectors a bear. Nice thing about the Furutechs is they have wonderful lugs for soldering the (+) and (-) wires.
