            • That's my 1" 2-track EAR/Studer tubed tape deck; the 3rd one Tim did, used on many records including Tuesday Night Music Club, allegedly by Sheryl Crow.

              I struggled to get the pics in the correct order, but the oscilloscope shots are after and before Tim's mod.

              For sale, BTW.

            • Added a Nagra with QGB adapter to the growing list of R2R non tax deductible family members. Was hard to find a QGB.

              The last picture capture the cleaning effort!

                        Combing through this thread made me pull the B62{left in the photo)from the garage. What a phenomenal sounding machine. In a blind comparison I'm not at all sure if I'll pick an A80 over a B62.

                        So in the photo above it is left to right sequence for best sound and right to left for tape handling.
