Little Hatch is great, just played it the other night. Can always get the LP to hear before listening.

I have all of the Tape Project tapes. IMHO (even though I am a classical music fan) I think the Little Hatch tape is the most realistic sounding album they have released. The master tape originated from Chad Kassem.

Although I have not had an opportunity to hear the tapes. The Tape Project also has Robert Cray - False Accusations, and John Lee Hooker & Canned Heat - Hooker N Heat.

Horsch House also has Terry Evans and Hans Theessink recordings.

Interested you brought up this topic. I have been playing some Audioquest vinyl releases like Doug MacLeod, Terry Evans, Robert Lucas, Might Sam McClain, Ronnie Earl, and was thinking it would be great to hear these albums on tape.

Maybe Valley Entertainment can work with Analogue Productions, and give us more of a variety with US manufactured tape releases.

I approached Joe Harley about getting copies of the AQ recordings when I first got seriously into tape. By that time, the tapes were in the hands of Valley music and he gave me the name of the person but never ended up calling. Also approached Kavi Alexander and Water Lily but he no longer had the tape machine he made the recordings on.

Myles we think alike. I also reached out to Joe Harley, and he directed me to Valley-Entertainment. I sent an email, and did receive a response back from Jon Birge. He confirmed they have stored the master tapes in accordance with the highest standards of quality, and if I sensed any traction in 15ips R2R tapes to let him know, and he would look for a duplicator.

I think I will respond with a few links to Audionirvana to help support the traction.
