If you think that's insane, wait until you see what this ends up selling for. I predict $400+.

      http://www.ebay.com/itm/Led-Zeppelin...S/252808759073

I have to say though - the 7.5 ips of Houses and of Zoso are the best sounding versions of those titles I have ever heard, including the 200g Classic Records LPs, which i also own...
      TAPE: Studer A807, A810; Revox B77 MkII; Technics RS-1700; Pioneer RT-707, RT-909
      VINYL: Denon DP59-L/Hana ML/ModWright PH 9.0; Pioneer PL-50LII/Dynavector 20xH, Pioneer PL-560/Clearaudio Maestro
DIGITAL: Bryston SP-3, Marantz NA6006/Pioneer N-50, Schiit Bifrost
      SPEAKERS: B&W Nautilus 800 Signatures/Velodyne FSR-15; Pioneer DSS-9/Sunfire TrueSub Jr.; Infinity Kappa 6
      AMPS: Cary SLP-05/Sunfire Signature 600, Pioneer SX-1980; Kenwood KA-8300

I should have added...that is NOT my listing and I have NO affiliation whatsoever with that seller.

Who even knows what shape these tapes are in?

      Oh and this one.

They should be giving free shipping, at least in CONUS.

The 3.75 ips tapes going big are what I really do not get. 7.5 ips pre-recorded tapes almost always sound better than their vinyl counterparts, assuming the tapes are in good shape. 3.75 ips pre-recorded tapes never sound as good as vinyl, barely better than cassette.

I'm with you. 3.75 ips tapes would sound like crap, even with the best care of transfer. The lowest I would ever go would be 7.5ips.

I wouldn't buy any of these tapes. Last time I bought a 7.5ps rock 4 tracker was Black Sabbath Volume 4. It sounded like sheet. Paid $250.00... never again.
