    Head stack in after AXPONA

    Well after talking to John French last week prior to leaving to AXPONA ( what a nice man!) I find a package at my doorstep today.

    My reworked heads are in all aligned and ready to go into the OTARI. Things are moving along. Power supply to the machine has been re-done, direct out from the heads is done , new pinch rollers and stainless steel tension arms- done I'm working on walnut side pieces and will likely take this out for setting up since I don't have the tapes required.

                      Hello. My first post here, but have been following for a while. This was waiting for me at post office after arrival from Axpona. My second A80 headlock assembly John fitted with
                      FM heads. Will provide signal directly to King/Cello tape pre due to arrive later this week. Been a pleasure working with John and Charles.

                                Sorry for late reply audioguy...Yes, its playback only. originally had mono head and was going to have stereo and mono playback. However John said that mono head was too worn out for relaping. Dummy head is in position 2. Erase head was relaped and disconnected
