I am interested in a comprehensive list of places to get sealed 10.5" tapes. I am running low... Suggestions?

AFAIK, there are currently two companies producing reel-to-reel tape.
Pyral in France, formerly RMGI. http://www.rmgi-usa.com/resources/Sp...-Pyral-Ltr.pdf
ATR (Mike Spitz's company) in the US. https://atrtape.com/product-category...h-master-tape/
Most comercial recordings are being released on the high bias RMGI/Pyral SM468 tape.
There was an issue with the Pyral tape not too long ago but it appears that tape is finally shipping (been shipping but I've heard of some people having to wait for their orders).

I primarily use RMGI/Pyral SM900 tape. The first part of 2015, during the change over, back orders of 4-6mo. were not unheard of. Then when they finally shipped, complaints of the backing peeling off and the slitting process being less than optimal were common, though I never had any of these problems. Then the later part of 2015, the only manufacturer of the metal reels sold the business. Luckily, someone picked up the business and are just now getting back online and fulfilling backorders. Hopefully all is well in tape land now.
I get my blank tape from Full Compass. They seem to have the best prices when ordering in bulk.Comment
