That is if you don't have a captive cable.
I've a couple around that have used with great success ranging from the $1200 Audience (that I reviewed for PF a while back), the Bill Low Signature, Lyra's Phonopipe and the differentially balanced Tranparent Gen 5 phono cables.
The Audience is a great value for the money, erring primarily in omission and being just a touch soft. The Bill Low Signature, a silver based cable, excels in the low end, transparency and especially dynamics. Lyra's Phonopipe is very resolving and clean sounding but I haven't had enough time to fully appreciate all its qualities yet. My go to right now is the Tranparent that is a big step up from the 7 or year old earlier version. Much more resolution and transparency but it still has that amazing soundstage and three dimensionality that brings performers and instruments to life.
