Mono reproduction with a -TRUE MONO- that means really "One channel", is absolutely seldom, may be unic with an actual Phono Pre.
The AS Monophonic from Audiospecials in Germany is such a unique example. This Blog : Audiocirc.com : https://audiocirc.com/2021/04/04/monophonic/ shows, the champions league in Monoreproduction.

happy early birthday to mePhasemation EA-1200.
After about a week and half I don't quite have a handle on what this phono stage is doing - but it's so much fun learning. Never really been a fan of MM phono + SUT, however after trying the Phasemation T-550 that change my mind. This thing is so silent it's eerie. I keep thinking it doesn't really have a lot of bass until a recording shows it has low bass big time and is fast - what it doesn't seem to have is mid bass pretending to be bass. Not sure how I feel about that at moment, but I feel like I am learning more about some of my fav recordings. this thing is so clear and pure with so much information on the mid range it's intoxicating. This is not your warm cuddly fat bass tube phone, this is fast, pure and captivating.

Vertere Phono-1 mk.iiL. This is an early “L”, before they changed the front light to orange. I’ve been a SUT guy for 40 years - and I may yet pull out the trusty old Cotter - but this is my first ‘real’ high gain mc phonostage. Still dialing in the loading for my Kleos, but that’s a discussion for another thread (which I may go start right now…).SME 10/IV, Lyra Kleos, Koetsu Black Goldline, Vertere Phono-1 mk.iiL phono stage, Naim cd3.5/ Flatcap2, Audioengine B1 upsampling bluetooth dac (for streaming Spotify), YBA 3 alpha line stage, YBA 2 alpha HC (not DT) power amp, Totem Forest Signature speakers, SME/VdH silver hybrid phono cable, MIT 330 S3 (phono to line), proline S1 (cd player), SL6 (dac), AQ Lapis OG copper (line stage to amp), Shotgun S1 speaker cable with AQ jumpers, RGPC Substation and1200S, Marigo Titanium, Ultra and Reference power cords, McIntosh MHA200 headphone amp (connected to pre out B via MIT 330 Shotgun so pre is used to control volume), Audeze LCD-3 planar magnetic headphones w/ Custom Cans UK low cpacitance xlr headpone cable, OG (marble) Sennheiser HD600 w/ custom Furutech/Mogami wire, VPI 16.5 and other miscellaneous and sundry widgets, thingamabobs and doodads.

We are planning a showdown in my main system. A chap down in Washington state is bringing up his Herron VTPH-2A and we are going to compare it with my Vendetta SCP2-C. Tube vs. solid state and true dual mono vs common power supply.
Don't know that we will get any conclusions (everyone tends to like their own gear) but is should be a lot of fun. I'll post any conclusions once it is over.

I bought the Lino Channel D3.3. I like it quite a bit. I also have a RADA Precious 1 in copper for a while. I really liked it, but I could not shut the hum down in my place. I have bad RF here. A meter jumps to over 17000 in my listening room. Walk into the hallway and it drops to 60 or so. The Lino is as quiet as the most quiet I have had here. Yet its much more musical than others that are quiet. I may have had others that were more musical, but they could not overcome the noise issues in my room.1 PhotoPAP Trio 15 Coax speakers, Dartzeel NHB108, First Sound Audio Mark 3SI Paramount preamp, Mojo Audio Deja Vu server, Mojo Audio Mystique V3 DAC, STST Motus II TT, Vertere SG1 arm, Aidas Durawood cartridge, Allnic H1201 Phono pre, The Linear Solution Ethernet Switch, LPS to Modem Router and Switch, Blue Jeans Ethernet cabling throughout network, Torus WM45BAL isolation transformer with Benjamin custom 120 volt single phase panel distributing to branch circuits.
