It looks like a nice set of enhancements they've done to the 'table.

As long as the changes are retrofittable, that's cool. Jumping on it from scratch- jeez, you could buy some very good cables for that kind of money!

Yes, it will be interesting to know whether the old AF1 can be upgraded to these parts. It will be expensive... that is for sure.

I thought they said you could but I might be mistaken.

It is amazing how much of a difference--even going into it knowing each type of material has different characteristics--the platter makes.

So, what I want to know, seriously, is on the upper left hand corner of the platform where the turnable rests, there is what looks like a wooden handled record brush, shaped almost like the old Discwasher. Can anyone identify it? TIA.
BTW, the build quality of those ancillaries, like the compressor, looks top notch. I also thought that the Einstein guy did a good job of acting as translator-intermediary. With a name like Einstein, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he's smart.

I tried blowing it up the best I could and all I could really make out was RCA on the side.

Thanks, Myles. I guess I could send a note to Einstein- smartest guy in the room! He'd know, right? (It was probably some vintage brush he acquired in his youth and has been using for 40 years, crafted by Tyrollean bridge trolls wearing lederhosen, and made from rare wood now restricted from harvesting from the Black Forest).

PS: just found it. It is a Dishwasher brush available on Amazon for 13 bucks. Funny.
