I like the fact that he calls it a "record player."

Fascinating. What a room! But not even a sneak peak at the Zero unless I missed it???

Only one thing. Nishikawa puts the needle down in the beginning and sits down to listen and the record's over!?!?

I've been in there and it's a darned fine room. The Sushi place we went to after was also darned good!

I think that room/system would hit all the right buttons for you Myles. Loads of fine micro renditioning and body. I believe David's been there as well.

What's interesting is that more and more turntable manufacturers are paying attention not only to the turntable's suspension but also the table/platform that the table rests upon. You saw that years ago with the Rockport turntable and now with several other tables. So no having to mess around with ugly looking after market devices like the Herzan, etc.

Analog playback begins at the tip of the stylus and goes thru the floor.

Agree with Jack, it's a fine room and well balanced, he had the Vivids there when I visited.

The highlight for me was meeting Nishikawa San, I knew of him for more than 20 years since the Micro Seiki SX-8000II, one of industry's true legends. Having had his tts as my companion for nearly as many years it was also like meeting an old friend. A friendly man and as Jack knows also a wonderful host.

                One of my old friends...
