How's that Darrenville linear arm working for you?
      -Steve

  • Hi, Steve,

I am of course completely convinced and also enthusiastic about the musicality. But last but not least all my customers who use such a tonearm.
The evaluations are all similar: only the music plays - the technology completely fades into the background.

I would very much like to invite you to come and experience this.

By the way, the name is Dereneville - and that is the name of my dear wife.

    Take care and stay healthy,
    Rainer

For more of Korton's 'analog eye candy' see link above. One of those has a cherry on top.
I heard from him more than a decade ago when he sent me a series of photos of his analog art works. The gent is a Dutchman living on the south of Spain where he can pursue his dream versions of hi-fi while overlooking the scenery around him.

          • Micro Seiki SX 8000 II. I just added the second NOS SME 3012R tonearm to the back mounting location and also inserted the two custom #304 stainless steel plates under the table. These are 2" thick and together weight about 220 lbs. providing a very stable platform for the motor and main chassis.

The motor cover is on its way. Delayed in shipping as far as I know.

The motor cover arrived last week.

          • The motor cover just arrived, so I thought I would update the photos. This completes this rare and wonderful sounding turntable.

Thank you. It sounds incredible. I am very grateful that DDK was able to locate one of these for me in such a pristine condition.

          • Looks great Peter! Congrats and enjoy!

PS - I’m enjoying my Pass XP-27. Thx for sharing your experience with yours.
