  • Identify this turntable suspension spring

it is a set of four. I came across these when I purchased a bulk lot of Thorens NOS parts from a retired Thorens dealer. He also sold other brands, I know, because in the lot was an Oracle Delphi suspension tune-up kit. These springs, afaik, are not Oracle, nor are they Michell. The springs are of the "extension" type. Which means that the turntable that uses them will be a "hungie" as opposed to a "sprungie". IE the subchassis will -hang from- as opposed to being -propped up- by a compression spring like a Linn.

I'll bet somebody here has seen one of these before.

They look like they would work with a (my) SOTA Sapphire. I've been looking for replacement springs (or replacements strings) for my SOTA, which have stretched beyond usefulness. Let me know if you'd care to part with them.

Thanks for your interest. I don't have a use for them and would like to see them put to proper use by someone who can. Please pm me.
