  • Cap and imp interconnect question

I own a bunch of instruments to measure many variables
    non cables.
It's a given of we measure them both weighted and unweighted we get done I idea of how they interact with our stuff.
I know we also need the output imp and input imp as well.
Is there any industry or tech points to follow.
My point is. Does anyone know a simplistic result on a given set of parameters ?
One example is a dc blocking cap and it's size and effects are a result of the input imp of the device
as a result makers use a safe larger size to fit all. But if our pre input imp is large we can go with a smaller one.
I know this is simplistic in view but it's a start
so tech or others who have a very high order of understanding on this please weigh in.
Ps I just spent 700 on blue jeans Cables using beldon
1800 model for its ultra low cap values
help me get a better understanding
    thanks in advance
