Great info Myles and Andreas makes his case very well. Sometime in the near future I would like to compare the four DSD formats but with my DAC it requires using the Windows ASIO drivers. I just abhor using Windows with audio.Marty -

Perhaps I am wrong, but doesn't the famous Lampizator convert the DSD signal directly into analog without any conversion to PCM or other digital filtering, overcoming the problems referred in the article?My opinions rely on listening mainly to acoustical, non amplified music. I do not care about electronic music or listening to rock at stadium levels, but I enjoy Mahler and Shostakovitch.Comment
