Just wondering if anyone had tried running Fidelizer (http://www.fidelizer-audio.com/) on their Music Server PC while using JRMC? Thinking of trying it, but wonder how/if it will conflict with the impending Win10 upgrade. Also curious about how difficult it is to actually set up and make run properly.

Hello there. I'm Fidelizer software developer. I'd like to inform you that I'm also JRiver Media Center since version 17 and Fidelizer is working fine with JRiver without issues so far. Also, I wrote a report about Fidelizer on Windows 10 below.
Tom Gibbs also reviewed Fidelizer Pro software with a satisfying result along with JPLAY here.

Lol that's why it's in the list . I'll buy it and try it near anything to loose in trying digital audio .
Phil helped me pick out a no holds bar server setup. It cost me but it's a beauty . I kept telling people who hate digital it's starts in the server and products like AO and yours . It can make a cheap DAC sound like a much more expensive setup. Glad you hereanalog stuff.

I started developing computer audio solutions to improve its performance closer to Esoteric CD transport. It was unbearable after listening to Esoteric P-03 then swap back to my own music server. I'm happy to hear that Fidelizer helps people who want to reach the same goal.

Yes it does and you were are a pioneer in the fact that you bettered digital audio playback from one win xxx desktop without having to dedicate a server. Before I built my first server your program opened a window to better digital . At 59 I grew up on analog vinyl and open reels . Perhaps it's where my small brain learned how it should sound . I never liked digital totally , and when I bought my first set of infinity speakers it only got worse .
I now own a set of IRSv speakers killers in the sense there is no where for bad digital to hide . This lead me to finding a way to improve the front end . Your program at the time while to did improve things was a start that ended in 40 k of msb stuff to get me there . As digital has improved and for me closed the gap of great vinyl it took a custom built server and many many hours to go down the dark road to better digital audio with out a 4 box msb solution . Programs like yours and phils now make it so much better for all. Almost any laptop or desktop can yield good digital .
I am going to try your program on phils new 2.0 . I did use jplay for a while , but too many settings to chase and even having to chage them from PCM to dsd was over whelming me . So i just use Jriver 20 now. I am looking forward to trying yours with it. So many pePle post highly of it.
Its sad that while digital audio is king of convience , our DAC makers do little to support there products in acheaving great audio from there products . Just some simple recommendations for a program like yours is a must have . While ps audio is a good DAC and Paul does dedicate time to it . It she's me plug and play rules as only until very recently he mentioned any such improvment for an external device . Like a REGEn or jitter bug. What drove me crazy is no mention of programs like yours . Even while I screamed about them .

With pleasure. I'm glad to hear Fidelizer helps bridging between good analog and digital audio better. Some people may not notice Fidelizer's effectiveness but I believe all analog audiophiles who have trouble with digital audio will enjoy the music better with Fidelizer.

It's a big week for digital improvment
audio optimizer Camelot with 2.20 beta 4 and fidlelizer came lit with a 7.7. A match made in heaven.
While distal is evolving people like Lucifer make critical improvemts that you don't realize was needed until you use it.
The new fid lowers the noise floor even more and relaxes while improving the decay of each note and manages to yield even more details.
At the end of track love and know very well I note so much more between the music and at the end the last bit of a symbol goes on longer with improved clarity.
Each improvment is an audio gift.
Thanks lucipher for yet another leap in quality.
Going to try some tidal now. Mqa picks lol of course.

It works in the back ground
jriver makes no choices.
It further optimizes the operating system and main board parameters. An example Ina multi core CPU it shuts some down. Uses min memory
amd many others. The sound is improved and it's obvious
enjoy
