    Now available from the Super HiRez Downloads section of Acoustic Sounds, the 15 album set "The Rolling Stones In Mono" in DSD, transferred from the First Generation Analog Master Tapes.

    Thanks for posting. I most likely try it. I have many albums and delux sets of them as well. Dsd and vinyl rips.
    I so want a mono of them and the Beatles
    my only concern is sound quality the stones seems to be poor overall. Is there anyone rating the quality of the release ? Ruby Tuesday as an example is a greet song but distorted on all of my copies as the joke band comes in with drums. Yet it has strings that I love in it.
    Far away yes is very good.

      One major irritation here is that there is only about 2 1/2 hours of "new" mono material here; everything else has already been on the original SACD releases from 2002. Another is a repeat issue from that original "release", the separate releases of the US and UK albums, pretty much ensuring that you pay for lots of duplication.

        Teri Landi used the earliest (best) copy of the original tape that exists with the best available sonics. yes, some of the content is duplicated from other releases but the result is the best mastered version of those songs to date. Th song samples I've heard were quite good, I'll reserve final judgement until I acquire mine,

      Price is only half the Lp box set for DSD, but then again, the resale value is zero.

          I don't have the Stones mono box set on Lp nor will I be buying it. (I have the mofi Stones stereo box set and I'm very satisfied with that, I'm not a Stones completist).

            And, of course, this set disappeared completely from the market once Acoustic Sounds shut down their download store on 12/31/2020. I hope everyone who wanted this version purchased it before then, because it isn't available for sale anywhere else.
