  • Lampizator DACs

I am astonished. A section on DACs without Lampizator fans?
My opinions rely on listening mainly to acoustical, non amplified music. I do not care about electronic music or listening to rock at stadium levels, but I enjoy Mahler and Shostakovitch.

Yes, but I will risk. I hope that some time this year I will be able to listen to a Lampizator GG.

There's just something right about tube DACs to these ears. Early on it was the Audio Note and Altis Audio DACs for me. And Lukasz seems to have designed the ultimate tube rolling machine.

I'd guess they'd be with Vapor Audio as usual. Last year they were located on the main floor of the hotel down by the auditorium.

What is a lampizator ,modest off it two dads in one if you buy both the PCM and DSd engines . It's also a tube dsc with a tube output stage . If it's a big 7 it has dual TRI outputs tubes and a recti of choice . If it's a head dac it has the above and a driver tube as well.
Choices in tubes is nearly end less . It can use 101 D , 45/300 6A3 and many more . The best driver is a nos that is new old stack an rca or tungsol vt99. Also a sylvania all are great choices to pick . It's sound type us not analog but what does pkese the brain. You may call it analog if you wish . Rolling tubes majestic ot the most adaptive sound chages of any dac I know of. A typical 101d is hyper detail while a 300 B gives weight , a 45 and 6A3 Lies in the middle. The dac is warm and neutral with a simple tube roll. There is plenty of info on tube rolling out there. I won both a B7 and a hewd dac. For both speakers and headphones they both are great. , but for headphones the head dac edges out the B 7. Very good to see posts here. This seems to be a good source of honest info.
                      analog stuff.

Al are you using your own server?

And you listen to RBCD, high Rez PCM and DSD through your Lampi?

Yes I use several custom servers with my lampi,s . For me one of the missing pcs in didgital audio is a server . A laptop or desktop does not show just how good a dac can be .
