This is a lot less than the most expensive DAC ever produced at $200k! And that was only 2-channel!!!!

Of the 8 outs, 5 are for speakers, 2 are for subs, and 1 is to insert your grounding wire in.

Actually, they will work together - you put the digital signal into illusonic/datasat/trinnov and take the digital out to MSB so that you have a corrected and processed signal going into a dac that will convert to it to analog for the preamp

Illusonic s a very competent Dac already. You dont need anything else and it costs about $20K for the 16 channel and much less for the 8 channel version.
