Nothing like new amps for Christmas. I have upgraded from the PS Audio BHK 250 Stereo amplifier to their BHK 300 Mono blocks. More is better right??!!

It is burn in time so nothing at the moment. I have them burning in the GamuT RS5i's too. Lot's of potential around here...

How was the first one , did you upgRde the tubes before you bought these. It's a good assumption you liked them before hence and upgarde in model.
may I ask what amp or Amos you had before. There is a NYC dealer and I own old aragons bb8008 bb now. I am looking to upgarde them.

I loved the BHK 250. It is a superb stereo amp. I swapped the Golden Lions for a pair of Tungsram PCC88's and it is a nice improvement in midrange. Prior to that I was running a Van Alstine 200 watt solid state. Nice amp but not comparable to the BHK's. This recent upgrade from the Stereo to the Mono's was a testament to how much I liked the Stereo version and I simply wanted to move up to the top line product. So far so good.

It is proving to be a happy pairing. Everyone is breaking in nicely. The bass is really coming out now.

Wish I did. This is our living room and getting to anything is becoming an issue. Always liked the clean look and now we have stuff everywhere!

I just traded a pair of Classe ct-m300 monoblocks for anew PS Audio BHK 250 and nice improvement. Plenty of power for my Usher X-Towers. Where did you get your upgraded tubes from and did they make a big improvement?

I'd remove that digital clock from the ac outlet, It might affect the amps.
