  • the return of the "compact stereo system?"

When I started college, I had a Superscope compact stereo, that basically had a BSR table attached to the top of a superscope receiver. Worked okay for my freshman year, after which Isold it for better quality componants.

Here's something new on the same idea!

I have a small system in the bedroom, all Yamaha. A receiver, CD/DVD player and matching speakers. Bought it years ago, used to drag it around with me from one work contract location to another so it's been stone axe reliable. It even sounds pretty decent, considering it is not set up for best acoustics.

Interestingly, the resolution is such that the difference in wires is noticeable.
