    MPods NOT QPods

Our new M3's should be arriving in the next few weeks. They will have the newly announced MPod foundation platforms installed at the factory and be ready to go once they arrive.

The MPod's are a new designed Pod for the M3 MPOD 3-PT STAND. The MPOD is much larger and designed to support very heavy products.

Btw, we finally received our demo S1II's. I've heard them at shows, but was totally shocked, right out of the box at how close they sound to the S5II or S7's. Yes, less bass extension, but you don't even notice it on most music. As others have noted they are quite something especially at their price point.

Thanks for the update Bob! I still have to try the Stillpoints under the speakers.

I would ck with Magico on the use of SP's. They are not recommended by Magico to be used with their speakers. I have been told they are not a good match with Magico speakers by several users and have experienced this first hand. I use SP's on my Kaiser and Ubiq speakers with great results, but they did not work for me on the Magicos. Of course YMMV....

Yes Alon told me the same thing. In fact, he was pretty adamant. But it doesn't cost anything to try. And they are even easier to replace with the new than old S5s.

Yep, no harm in trying and you never know, because different flooring is going to determine much in the equation. I tried them on a few Magico models and it "closed down" the sound. On other non Magico speakers they work great????

Just a couple more pictures about the new MPods.

According to Alon, the MPods work as follows:

There are 10 parts in each foot. The new MPod bottom section is completely isolated from the top section. Once in place, you remove the pin and engage the load. More to come…

Bob, do you have any experience with the MPro?

Looks like the MPods also work with the S7s.
