  • What do you call an Analog Lover?

If we call a digital lover a digiphile, do we call an analog lover an analogophile? Suggestions?

What do you call an analog lover ? = I don't see it as a "phile", I see it as a person having a grasp on the reality of music reproduction or an 'audio purest.' Like in photography a lot of people still like film and their Leica's.

I'm talking about those of us, however few, who reject digital and prefer or "love" analog "phile" meaning lover of.

If I can eventually acquire a better turntable/cartridge combination I will become more of an anaphile. As it is, I don't play my better or more collectible LPs very often in order to protect/preserve them.

If I only listen to digital and call myself a music perfectionist, then someone who only listens to records may have musical OCD.
