  • Very Sad News

Just learned this PM that Bret D'Agostino passed away today. Sadly, way too young! Here's a picture from an interview did with him when Bret was rolling out his Bully Sound equipment line. (pictured are his first generation BSC amplifiers.)

Bret was a friend to all in the industry, great guitar player and leaves behind a young son and a dog and couple of kitties. My condolences and thoughts go out to Dan and Rondi and the rest of the family! We will miss you Bret!

Oh man...this is very sad. I exchanged emails with Bret 6 or 7 months ago re: a Doshi phono he was looking to sell. He offered to have me visit him in CT to listen to it before buying. Regretfully, I shied away from the drive to CT - I wish I had gone; he seemed genuinely nice (over email) and offered helpful advice when asked. RIP Bret - thoughts and prayers for the family.
