    Willing to admit I haven't a clue

    Was looking up some analog productions , seeing if there is some for my birthday to buy. CAme across some I have , I like Chad while he admits some stuff must turn a buck meaning the model he does have his fingers in some of the best I own or out there.
    My point is this while I rave about dsd as the one to get me a vinyl sound sound like lol. Bruce has said something I thought was odd. He is format agnostic . I regard his views highly but could not get my head around his comment . It seemed like someone who loves music more then my point of ref quality . Well one of my favorites is bills holiday . The photos are attached. As it is sourced from tape it never was transferred directly to dsd . It was as stated in honesty bless you for that chad stay that way please . It is from PCM converted to dsd go figure . Hence an album I hold in high regard is from a format I have less than dsd .

    Billee Holiday represents many of my reference recordings, modern female jazz singers also represent most of my reference recordings.

      I don't know your taste so I can only recommend 3 recent recordings I purchased and think very highly of. Two MoFi's Sinatra "No One Cares" and "Where Are You." Some of the most intimate Sinatra Ballads I've heard to date. It's like he's in the room with you. The third is Leonard Cohen "You Want It Darker." Recorded like crazy and Cohens last recording I believe. Again very intimately recorded and performed.

          More than credit he is honest that's monumental in business. My point was two fold first that is a fantastic recording that does not sound liken to pcm so I assume in transferring it from pcm to dsd magic did happen.
          Second it's proof a great recording is format agnostic
          while I own many great pcm I would loose a bet on that one
          also I own a analog production of cat tea album it does not have studder as others do and has an anolog type sound
          nothing like all the rest I own. Truly a pleasure to play every time. Chad and a few others really do enrich our music experience in all formats both digital and anolog in tape and vinyl.

            I only have a few AP titles and they are are outstanding. I just wish they were more readily available in Canada.

                  To me what makes him better then others is his music
                  choices are more main stream for me

                      I don't think I own any mono recordings. I do have a few two channel strereo phonic albums meaning no mixing
                      just two channels Myles can explain. One we own is stereo 57 of Elvis also a down load from chad it's dsd 64
