A question from the initiated. How does the cost of a MQA file compare to a normal digital file? There's one thing I know from dealing with record labels. Nothing gets done without them making money. You talk to the powers to be at the label and the first question you hear is how is it going to make us money?

Chad some one we all respect says the same thing lol. It's always about money Myles only at our level of playback is it quality and quantity .
I might try a Manhattan from a friend for a week to hear a completely unfolded music . A close friend tells me it's nice and as I have heard it's not dsd or com it's it's yet another own sound . Some good some bad so why overall do I care ? Only cause of its streaming improvements.
      analog stuff.

The secret words in that article are " different streaming services", Universal never mentioned Tidal.

Myles on Tidal its $19.99 for Hi-Fi that gets you better than normal streaming onTidal plus MQA. A download from HD tracks say Jethro Tull a 96/24 files for download and its yours is $17.98 . Oh not to mention you can download music files from Tidal to your harddrive. , same price ($19.99 a month) Record labels are nothing but big corporations and yes, making money has to be a huge priority, if not why stay in business.
