I voted 16-20hrs dedicated time listening to my system. However, I spend a lot of time on my PC and listen to FLAC for another 16-20hrs.

Myles - My system pretty much stays on all day but more accurately I have been spending a few hours (OK, too many hours) an evening/night doing serious listening. The term serious is used vice critical as I view the use of the later as meaning searching for flaws rather than enjoying the music to the exclusion of all other distractions.

If you mean sitting in front of speakers and music is the primary activity probably about an hour a day or less on average. If you mean having the stereo on and cooking dinner, talking with the kids, checking up on life, reading a book etc it's a lot more.

With two younger kids I can only grab the weekend nights to enjoy the music sessions, mostly Blues and Jazz
