I know the feeling of not being able to afford really good components myself, so all my stuff is budget audio.

    Amen brother Steve.

And after a year I am still loving my Tekton Pendragons. Ridiculous performance for the money.

Lower cost, high value. Not catchy or clever, but honest and meaningful.

I have nothing against high priced gear. I love listening to friends systems that cost more than my house. I just don't care to focus on it. The industry needs a viable lower cost segment to thrive.

Few reviewers concentrate on this segment of audio. You are appreciated Steve.

They should be here in a week or so, and will be on display in my room at the show. Driven by either a Heed Audio Elixir integrated amp or a Schiit Audio Freya/Vidar combo, that will be the bulk of the most expensive system in my room.

Steve I think you called it correctly with these few words " lower cost, high value audio" and that's good enough for me.

I always disliked the term entry level (and emailed Stephen Mejias my opinion) because cheap is not always a stepping stone to more expensive.

Cheap (or "reasonable, if you prefer), if done properly, can be an end in and of itself. Not everything needs to be upgraded.
