Picked up a pair of these highly touted earpads a month ago as an upgrade for my Sennheiser HD-600s. Not a big investment (~$60), and while they certainly look and feel the part (i.e., the construction and quality seem first rate), I am ambivalent (at best) about whether the change in sound is actually an improvement, all of which is a nice way of saying that my impression after a month or so is that, while they may allow for some additional detail, I think they do so at the expense of some life, a trade I am not normally willing to make.

Anyone else try them? Do they change over time as the memory foam compresses and the leather softens even further? Or maybe Sennheiser knew what they were doing with the original earpads in the first place? I’d be interested to hear your impressions.
