You can't make that comparison Garth! R2R is entirely about the media, 4K is about media and broadcast standards. I switched from a 50lb CRT to a Plasma HD when there was enough content to make it worth my while. -
Seems Samsung is making a big push with curved screens but don't remember seeing any Sony curved screens. -
I prefer flat. But curved is OK on a really large screen and youre sitting in the middle.

Went to best buy today. They had the samung uhd bluray player for $400 and about 2 dozen movies for $30 each. They didn't have a working demo of the player however.
