I thought the tribute was a little weak. They had to really try hard to stretch the material out to cover an hour show. Watching three or four The Prince Show segments in a row was lame. Sure a few of the never seen off camera pieces were fun but that wasn't enough. 15 mins devoted to Prince would have been fine. It also reminded me of why SNL jumped the shark decades ago. I thought it was weak too. I did enjoy the early performance from 1981 though. The Prince show clips were inappropriate.
