In this blog post, I’ve compiled a list of the top 10 venues in the world with the best acoustics so you can choose the ideal spot for you to sound your best when you[...]

Gotta be kidding about Royal Albert Hall. Sounds like a barn inside. Those mushrooms hanging from the ceiling aren't helping. Heard Vaughn Williams Symphony #5 and Walton's Belshazzar's Feast there many years ago.
Wikipedia has an enormous list of Concert Halls around the world. Last night I went through all of them and selected 25 distinctive buildings that caught my eye. This list is not exhaustive and was not compiled for a concert hall’s cultural, historical or architectural significance.

It was a nice hall I was in many that 10 day trip my wife was playing every other night in one hall or another and we went to some concerts as well. Nice city good food easy to get around.

The only ones I've been to are , The Walt Disney Concert Hall ( we caught the Christmas shows a few times) fabulous and Royal Albert Hall, for Joe Bonamassa. A little odd, the RAH sound seemed to bounce everywhere.

I am a bit surprised Carnegie Hall only made it on one list. Thought it sounds pretty good, esp when compared to its uptown neighbor David Geffen Hall. I would love to hear the BSO at Symphony Hall one day...

I left out a list of two in fact that had Avery Fisher/Geffen Hall on them. The inclusion of that hall, one of Cyril Harris' abominations, lost all credibility for me.

Yes that was what I referring to when mentioned RAH was like listening in a barn.

Totally agree! Having said that, my wife and I still subscribe there. We like their Saturday evening concert series, which Carnegie Hall does not have, as well as the ease of parking, and the variety of restaurants within blocks of Lincoln Center. But Carnegie Hall is indeed better sounding. Saw Oue and the MO perform there, what a treat!
