    To echo Myles, we are friends with quite a few members of the SF Symphony. They have told us that improvements in the halls are often done to improve the sound for the musicians. If they can hear each other play better, they sound better.

    Kedar's comment on the Sheldonian bring up the point on the list that they are not considering smaller spaces. Some of the best venues are smaller and don't easily hold anything larger than a chamber orchestra.
