    ...and Don Morris.

    Hello Myles,

Delmark Records in Chicago is getting ready to release the following titles on 15 IPS 1/2 track that we are duplicating for them. All of them are from the original analog masters.

Delmark started in St. Louis in 1953 and moved to Chicago in 1958. It is one of the iconic jazz and blues label in Chicago and is still alive and well today.

I have a sampler tape prepared that will be available for shipment on January 3rd, for your tape circle. This tape contains the first track of the each of the first four tape that Delmark will be releasing.

"In the Wee Wee Hours"- from Hoodoo Man Blues-- you can smell the cigarette smoke from the club. Killer track, killer album.

You know, I interviewed Bob Koester on the making of that album, happy to post a link.* It was done in connection with the National Recording Registry essay- there was too much material for that essay, so I did a stand alone piece.

*Not to be shilling myself or anything.
