    Hello folks!

Just an FYI that I literally just got the notification from Ed (MC-3500) via Audionirvana's PM system reaching out me but please note this notification came in two days after the fact! I don't know if this is commonplace but with me, it happens all the time. I get notifications days after they had been posted. Thankfully Myles alerted me. Now I await confirmation from MC-3500 that he's shipped the Yarlung tape my way.

I will report back once I've received it.

    Best regards!

Hi Oswaldo, I have not received any info up to this point and I moved on to the next person waiting, Austin Acoustic. Make arrangements with Man to intercept the tape when he is done listening. Tape just went in the mail today to Man, I apologize for any inconvenience, I wanted to keep the tape moving along in the rotation. Ed

Well this is a most unfortunate turn of events being that I indeed reached out to you via PM *the very day* that Myles reached
out to me via Facebook Messenger.

Did you not check your PM? I sent you my shipping info on the 11th?

How could you decide to arbitrarily skip me when I am telling you in this thread I in fact replied to you and now I am waiting
on your confirmation you have shipped out to me?

I must not understand this how this private messaging works on this forum. It is not particularly intuitive.

I can't even find the original PM MC-3500 sent me, nor my reply to him with my address. Are they stored somewhere else other
        than the general messaging inbox?

          Oswaldo,

I never received any communication from you, have Myles verify if you wish. Man responded within a few hours and I told him I wanted to wait the weekend maybe you were on holiday. I would contact Man soon and he can send the tape to you when finished.

            Ed,

I honestly do not know or understand where the PM went but I did reply to yours the very next day after Myles alerted me you had tried reaching out.

Incidentally, your PM notification ended upon reaching me two days *after* you had sent it. You sent it on Aug, 10th, I replied the next day on Aug, 11th.

Again thanks to Myles intervention through Facebook. Can you believe I finally received the official notification of your communication Aug 12th. The main
point being, do not be so surprised when some members do not reply right away. Unless one is constantly logging in, they are likely missing many of the
posts, or minimally, not getting the notifications in a timely manner but days later.

To avoid this problem, I am posting my personal e-mail here so that Man Soon can see it and e-mail me whenever he's ready to forward the tapes to me.

So Man Soon, sir please, reach out to me to the following e-mail: [email protected]

            Thanks in advance,

Tape received earlier today. Although I must confess, I was rather surprised the boxed used wasn't refreshed sometime through its travels? It looked like it had been stomped several times by the postman. In fact the Yarlung tape box sustained heavy damage. Seam splits galore. The (tape) box should have had a layer of cushion material all around its periphery so that the box doesn't move about inside the shipping carton.

Needless to say the original box will be discarded and I will use a fresh new box with proper packing material.

                  Best,

                    YARLUNG TAPE UPDATE (9/5)

Greetings gentlemen. I have done a couple of passes of the Yarlung Tape and I concur with those of you whom have been impressed with the sound. Really wonderful and certainly one of the top tapes on this AudioNirvana Tape Circle project. Good stuff.

Alright, I have a few program notes:

1 - The tape did not arrive with a playlist. Was there supposed to be one? I spent part of today piecing together what each track was, and quite surprisingly, with the aide of the App Shazam, I got every track but one. Track 6 I could not get.

Anyway, then I found the original images Myles had shared when he first got this Sampler and voila! There was the darn Playlist. Did this playlist ever travel with the tape and it got lost somewhere during its travels? Does anyone remember seeing it? All that was included with the tape were three complete mini booklets (programs) for three of the 7 tracks in this Sampler. So I am now wondering if some of the other booklets got lost because only three made it otherwise.

2 - I plan to make a new playlist now that I know what the missing track 6 is, and include it in the box as a courtesy - because if you are like me - you like to follow along and know what you're listening to.

3 - I will repair the tape box or the cover will completely rip off.

4 - I will also be replacing the shipping box and use proper packing material to help protect the tape which took a real beating.

                    &

5 - According to the sign up list, the following are the people that are left to get time with this tape in this particular sequence:

                    Russe41
                    CohnAudio
                    Afveep

Since Russe41 was skipped prior I think this might be a good time to get the tape to him? What say you Russe41? Would you like to be next?
I plan to ship the tape out head of next week so I need to figure out who wants this next. We have the weekend to figure it out.

However if CohnAudio or Afveep wish to jump in then please let me know at your earliest convenience.

                    Best,

                      Fellows,

I am ready to pass on the Yarlung tape to one of the following people: Cohnaudio, russe41 or Afveep. I have gone through the complete thread and I believe these are the people left to receive this tape, in that order.

Who wants it? Please PM me, or better yet, drop me a note to my personal e-mail:

                      [email protected]

I guess it is too late today to get it out but if you reach me overnight I could ship it out tomorrow.

                      All my best,

Russ41 finally contacted me a couple of days ago so he gets the Yarlung tape next. In fact, the tape was shipped today. As promised before I have “refreshed” the box and used new packing material in addition to creating a playlist.

Thanks for the opportunity Myles. Certainly this is one of the good ones!
