The Spiral Groove decks also have an oversized platter and takes advantage of its flywheel effect. I wouldn't argue with their results, its one of my all-time fave vinyl spinners.

    Myles,

Thanks for sharing the photos and comments.

I was at yesterday’s session and found it more entertaining than in previous years. The VPI (the new Soundsmith cartridge sounded wonderful... I liked it better than the Lyra Etna) Gryphon, Devore, and VAC rooms stood out to me. Good to see that the Phoenix Engineering products are back on the market, even if only for SOTA TTs at the moment. I’m glad I got mine for the VPI Classic 3 before they closed doors.

Paul Paddock of Linanium, Impact Technology and whose driver patents are owned by Crag Oxford/High Emotion Audio. http://www.highemotionaudio.com (was Pipedreams etal.)

Thanks for the correction Lawrence. Mark and I spoke about what happened to Veloce at the show.

I assume the same Craig Oxford who took over the Pipedream Speakers too. Or was he involved in making cables. Been too long.

yes Myles and thank you for your reportage.

The self same Craig Oxford that bought Pipedreams the Paul Paddock driver patents and attempted the High Emotion loudspeakers ~ defunct now I believe as are Mark's Impact Technology (that used Paul's loudspeaker drivers) and Veloce projects.

IIRC those racks were once sold by VPI and made for them by the late Ray Shab/Arcici.
