Tenacious Sound to Host the Debut of High-End Speakers and Components from TAD, Quad,
Soundsmith, Unison Research and More at Capital Audiofest 2018


At Capital Audiofest 2018, top high-end audio dealer Tenacious Sound will feature the world and North American premieres of new products from TAD, Unison Research, Quad, Coda, Soundsmith and Audience.

In fact, it'll take no less than four rooms to demonstrate and exhibit all the products that will be on hand! It'll all take place at Capital Audiofest 2018 at the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel and Executive Meeting Center, 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD(November 2 - 4, 2018).

In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to win a new Primare I15 Prisma integrated amplifier/DAC/music streamer ($1,999) by visiting the rooms.

Here are just some of the many highlights that listeners can experience at the show, in systems ranging from under $2,500 to ultimate performance.

The Lincoln Room will feature two complete audio-summit demonstration systems. Experience the world premiere of the TAD E1TX-K loudspeakers and M1000 amplifier, Coda System 250 amplifier, Soundsmith Hyperion ES cartridge and Audience frontRowinterconnects and speaker cables.

Room 319 will host the world premiere of the Unison Research Due integrated amp/DAC and Coda S20 amplifier, the North American debut of the Quad Artera Solus integrated amplifier/DAC/CD player, and the first demonstration of the Soundsmith Paua ES cartridge.

Room 317 and Room 315 will showcase multiple complete systems with components and speakers from Quad, Wharfedale, MoFi, Audience, Primare and more, including the North American introduction of the Quad Vena II integrated amplifier/phono stage/DAC.

Capital Audiofest 2018

Capital Audiofest is upon us and this year will be extra special! This year at CAF we will be publicly launching our Anniversary HW-40 Limited Edition turntable. The table will feature a Direct Drive motor and will have a limited run of 400. But if we are going to have a proper 40th Anniversary Celebration we need to have a proper party!

CAF 2018 runs from November 2nd-4th but we will be having after hour parties and events the whole weekend.

Nov. 2nd

The first after hour event will be Friday night at 7:00 PM for our Movie Soundtrack Night!

We will be listening to at least one full side of each soundtrack record on our HW-40 while playing scenes from the actual movie in the background.

Nov. 3rd

On Saturday night we will have out official 40th Celebration party again at 7:00 PM November 3rd. During the party we will have food, drinks, Q & A with VPI founder Harry Weisfeld, and a reading from the VPI Book.
