Capital Audiofest Report 2016

Audionirvana has a presence at CapAudiofest!

Great show, different feel to it, lots of enthusiasm in the air. Very nice hotel setting. Much friendlier, good turnout by the industry (including manufacturers and stores), exhibitors much easier to approach than at many shows, far higher quality of exhibits than in the past (not so much price point but not like couple of years ago where was 1/2 DIY and felt like people brought their audio system to the hotel), fairly good and respectable sound and good turnout by consumers on Saturday. In fact, some surprises and new products debuts among the show exhibitors!

More to come today and tomorrow. The WIFI connection is challenging to upload to large files to the board.

Myles - I am extremely curious about the sound of the big KEF Muon system. The looks are pretty much unique but did it live up to the hype?

Next year's CAF will be held in the beginning of November at the Hilton in Rockville, MD. Gary is gearing up to have 60 some odd rooms next year and after this year's show already has commitments from several new manufacturers. So 60 is entirely in the realm of possibility.
