Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

The Genesis Quartets usually comprise four towers, like in the picture below. In this case, I wanted to distribute the bass duties across different size woofers as they all couple to the air differently and while they measure the same, they sound different. So, instead of eight x 8-inch woofers, we have two x 8-inch, two x 12-inch and two x 15-inch. There are three channels of bass amplification, with servo-control per pair of drivers.

Very nice looking! A tastefully updated classic! Is this speaker system fairly easy to drive or does it require serious horsepower? Thanks Gary

Gary, did the multi size sub-woofer prove out for you? Brilliant idea.

A very big thanks to you Gary of Genisis speakers for hours of great sound in both rooms. Merrill is a really nice guy and seems to feed off the crowds in the rooms. Matt of VPI can really excite a crowd beyond most I ever see. So when they are all in one room it explodes in great sound and an obvious love for the art of giving us amazing audio. Distinctive audio owner is also a kind and energetic man filled with knowledge and sharing to all.
I loved the show and felt it was of the best shows I’ve attended so far. To hear and see the massive advancements of my IRS V done by Gary of genesis speakers was an Amazing time alone.
Thanks all for a great time.

By the time Herb visited...... the HW-40 had been taken away by VPI as they "desperately needed it". Good thing we had great digital!!

The VPI HW-40 is $15,000. We had the Van den Hul Crimson Black cartridge, and that's $5,295. The rack as configured is $17,800. The Merrill Jens phonostage is $15,500.
