The new Sonoma series was again a real hit at High-End Munich. Dealers from Europe and Asia said it is the BEST DAC ever ! The real treat was comparing the analog source, Telefuken M-15 tape deck, running a one-off copy of the master tape of Barbara Dennerlein’s Hammond B-3 jazz album through the PBD Pinot (ADC). The analog master was 15 ips CCIR recorded (w/PBD recording software) through the Pinot/Merlot @ quad DSD. WOW !
Looking forward to listening to this tape on the new ReVox tape-deck !
