Hi guys,
Last year, we were suitably charmed by the late, great Richard Beers, and ended up signing for 3 rooms of our own, for THE Show Newport Beach. It was insane, but a lot of fun!
We figured in 2016 we'd take it slow, and signed up initially for 1 room... But that was not to be, and here we are, again participating in 3 rooms (and helping with a 4th one!)
So, here's what's going to be shown:
Quail Hill Room: Jonathan has already announced some of the "precious" that we'll show in this room, but it doesn't hurt to repeat: Evolution Acoustics MMthree EXACT, darTZeel 458 monos and 18-NS mk2 preamp, Wave Kinetics turntable (+ brand new, world premier of the KL tonearm), another world premier in the form of the Athanor DAC. Oh, and tape. Lots of tape!
Shady Canyon: A room that constantly gets nominated "best of show", YG Acoustics with Audionet electronics. This time, we're going all-analog, with a beautiful Kronos Pro doing its thing. Bring your LPs!
#1144: The baby Avantgardes, the Uno XD, will be shown with Audiopax M50 tube monos, L50 preamp, Bergmann turntable, D'Agostino phono pre, and MSB Diamond DAC V.
*AND*
#441: Positive Feedback's hospitality suite will have one of the best pairing in high-end audio, darTZeel LHC-208 and Evolution Acoustics MicroOnes, streaming audio non-stop.
There ya go... Lots of fun guaranteed! Hope to see you all this coming weekend. I'm going to be rotating between the three rooms, but I can always be reached at (619) 243-4924.
